first of all great work :D

then i tried a bit and wanted to get the item background working like it is on wowhead. (borders etc)
the problem is that the background from wowhead is an static image which is resized with jscript.

i dont want to spend too much time on this so i wont use this mod since it works better :D

to get the background (non resized) behind the tooltips you need to edit the wowhead.css file and add following:

Quote

.tooltip {background: url(http://www.wowhead.com/images/tooltip.png) no-repeat;}

just a hint :D

KEEP IT GOING

using a different approach to create more or less the same look as wowhead uses now. Instead of using a jscript to set the image to the correct size I'm using a table driven tooltip to position the borders. I know its ugly, but it seems to work best in all browsers, FF renders it fine now, but IE is still having some sizing errors.

Looks like it's working now, atleast on my IE7 browser, so you're gonna make a repack anytime soon and upload? I guess there's some code-changes as well right?

Quite happy with it now, the tooltips look good in Firefox and Opera, and render almost as well in IE6/7. I'll probably repack everything tonight.

I'll repack the latest version tonight, and rewrite the installation instructions as well. Just wait for that, and then try again :)

If you run the update script that the author posted earlier on that will update all the links to wowhead ones and when you add new ones they will automatically be wowhead ones.

:unsure:

Installed the script but tooltips are still appearing in alakazam first, I have to go into cache and manually update each item then it will switch to wowhead. This is for new items as well.

I might try uninstalling and reinstalling the entire script.

I'm using Vbulleting and when I installed this the items can't update using [item]38744en[/item] anymore and also when an item does update and I scroll over it, it uses the background of the site and you can't really see any text.

Any suggestions?
