EQdkp Raid Progression
by magnus

Current version
2.0 (07/14/2006)

Description
This plugin allows you to graphically track your guild's progression through World of Warcraft instances, and best of all, it's all dynamic!

Installation
As with any plugin, simply extract all files within the archive to your EQdkp plugins directory. Once extracted, login to your EQdkp Administration Panel and click Manage Plugins. From there, you will need to click Install. That's it! You will now have a link titled "Raid Progression" added to the end of your menu at the top.

By default, the configuration is set to track only the end-game 40-man instances: Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, Ahn'Qiraj and Naxxramas. You may, of course, edit config.php and the template to add or remove any instances you desire. Just be sure to pay close attention to the way the data is setup and mimic it.

* Note: This plugin requires a specific schema in regards to your raids and events. It expects your "events" to be instances names, such as "Molten Core", "Blackwing Lair", etc. and for your "raids" to be the boss or encounter name, ie. "Lucifron", "Chromaggus". You may edit the included config.php file should your actual text differ from what I've included. I've tried to make it as straight-forward as possible.

Support
For all intensive purposes, this plugin is unsupported. However, I will attempt to help you as much as I can within reason. If you pay attention to the text in red (above), that really should be the only 'problem' you encounter.

This plugin was tested and developed using EQdkp 1.3.1, PHP Version 5.1.4-0.1 and MySQL Server 5.0.22. If you have any problems using this plugin, please first check the above versions and post a reply including those details.

That's because I'm an idiot. Well, for future reference, that's the error you get if you forget to enable the plugin.. :P

Fixed. Sorry about that.

One thing to add is that the "viewraid.php" and "viewevent.php" hrefs were pointing to the current directory in plugins/rp. I edited index.php to reflect their actual locations: "../../viewraid.php" and "../../viewevent.php".

Cool addon though.

Fixed, and archive updated. Thanks for catching that. I use a modified version on my live site and that detail slipped through when I whipped up the default version. ;)

Edit the config.php and you'll see where and how to add (or remove) an instance.

Could it be done? Sure. Unfortunately, it's not something I'll add at this time. I'll add it to my to-do list.

Ok, so i get this error ....

Fatal error: Template->loadfile(): Error - file body does not exist or is empty in C:\Websites\www\eqdkp\includes\class_template.php on line 200

And by "enabling the plugin" i guess you mean pressing "install" on the manage plugins page? - well, i did that (say "uninstall" now) but still this error :/

Have you verified that the directory structure has remained intact? Is the rp.html file located in {eqdkp_root_path}/plugins/rp/templates/default? The only time I've ever seen that error is when either the file didn't exist or the plugin was disabled (ie. uninstalled).

Are you running any other plugins? If so, are they working fine?

Also, which version of PHP and MYSQL are you using?

I dont add 'Blackwing Lair' 'Naxxramas' in event/info window for that specific boss kill, is there a way to make it so it reads only from your raid kills ?

Like I said, anything is possible. However, currently, that format is beyond the scope of this plugin. I designed this plugin to use the 'reccomended' event/raid format, which is what my guild uses. There are just too many different variations that are used for me to be able to encompass them all.

This plugin, basically, just crawls your SQL database and builds it's information from that. Really, it can be modified to support any format with some tinkering. Of course, some formats are easier than others. I fully intend to update this for EQdkp 1.4, which is using a different structure altogether, that will work on just about every setup.
