hi all,

the package works well, the only problem i have is, that not all of us have the english wow version.
is there an easy way to modify the search to use the item-id instead of the name of the item?
if i look at my logs i can find e.g. item id 16713 for the shadowcraft-belt, so allakhazam can also find it when i use following url: http://wow.allakhaza...tml?witem=16713
if i open allakhazam.php there will be searched for the name of the items, so would it be easy to rewrite to use the item-id?

thx in adv.

- You would manually enter the item id into EQdkp? (in the Add Item page possibly?)
- The item listing and item names on your site would still appear in english?

I have ideas on how this could be done. I don't think it would be too complicated. It only depends how you'd want this to work.

I know this isnt exactly the right thread to ask this question in, but I am very interested in using your package but have already modified many of my files to have mouse-over with some little bugs that I can't seem to fix. How would I go about doing a clean install of EQDKP without erasing any of the raid data?

These files edited for mouseover are nothing more than templates for displaying the data stored in your mysql database. So you can simply drop alll the files from the zip onto your current setup and it should work right away without any worry of wiping your existing data. I would clear out the xml_cache folder though.

I get a ? mark when I look at the item page. I also am seeing 2 of the same item when I click on the item. Here see for yourself

http://vision-guild....istitems.php?s=

http://vision-guild....hp?s=&i=1&o=2.0

I had the allakazam item mod install already. Should i have removed this?

when i look at the item table I see

Eye of Divinity NULL greyname INV_Misc_QuestionMark <table cellpadding='0' border='0' class='borderless'>
<tr>
<td valign='top'>
<img class='itemicon' src='{ITEM_ICON_LINK}'>
</td>
<td>
<table class='wowitemt'>
<td>
Allakhazam was busy or this item does not exist. Click to search again.
</td>
</table>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

Ok so I re-move files and it makes me walk through the install of the full EQDKP again. I know the values are still on my MYSQL server but they dont show up in EQDKP. Anyway to port them over?

I also backed up all the files before I overwrote them, so anyway I can get the data back from there?

ok it seems to be working a little. For some reason the eye of divinity will not show up.

Can I stop it from showing the item twice on the view item? I would like the view item page to stay the same way it was before.

I tried editing the entries in the DB manually but it wopuldnt show up correctly.

It's showing up twice because you have two of these types of mods installed. I can see some of this stuff in your HTML file...

<!-- // --- XML.PHP MOD --- // -->

This is from the other mod for item stats.

Here's a snipet from the HTML on that page when I view source on it...

<style type="text/css">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="itemstats/templates/itemstats.css" type="text/css">
<script type="text/javascript" src="itemstats/overlib/overlib.js"><!-- overLIB (c) Erik Bosrup --></script>
<!--
td.cat,td.cathead,td.catsides,td.catleft,td.catright,td.catbottom { background-image: url(templates/zoneCopper/images/cellpic1.gif) }
th { background-image: url(templates/zoneCopper/images/cellpic3.gif) }
td.rowpic { background-image: url(templates/zoneCopper/images/cellpic2.jpg); background-repeat: repeat-y }
-->
</style>

Take the two lines you added there, and move them above that first line. The problem is that right now, the <script> tag for overlib is inside of the <style> block.

Is there any workaround to getting this mod working without having cURL or fopen?
