Chacmool
Hello!

I'm about to show you the modifications I've done to eqdkp, as well as some mods made for World of Warcraft. The mods are used to make life easier for me as an officer updating dkp and doing ingame auctions during raids.

I don't know yet if I'm gonna release it for public download. Doing so puts me in a position where I "have to" help people which have problems with it, and I don't know if I have the time to be a WoW-addict, contiue to develop eqdkd + wowmods AND make sure everyone else is satisfied with their installations.

EQDKP:
I started with a clean install of EQDKP like a year ago, and I've been modding it since then. I've made some huge changes, as well as some smaller ones that are almost not visible. I've made pages for showing the setprogress, polls, attendance stats, and probably others. I've also made it so that you add "empty" raids, which our members can signup for so we know who's interested to go to that raid.

I've added icons for member classes, as well as the "standard" ItemStats for all items. There are also icons for each type of event, so that you can for example easily find all Blackwing Lair raids by it's purple icon color.

Another small change is the presentation of your current dkp below the site name, and the small raid calendar at the top right corner of the page.

In the admin system the most noticable change is the raid tracker (explained below), and some small tweaks of the additem system. When you add an item you are redirected back immediately to the additem page for that raid so it's easy to add another one.

Screenshots of our eqdkp installation:

Listraids:
  • Double dkp installation, Untamed and ZG/AQ20. Same files used, but different databases
  • Current member dkp values below the site name
  • Raid calendar
  • Upcoming / today / old raids, as well as the signup for these raids

Viewraid (upcoming raid):
  • Signup system, where the members can sign as [Yes], [No] or [Late]
  • Signup list, with numbers which shows current amount of raids attended for each person
  • Unavailible list with members who can't attend the raid

Viewraid (old raid):
  • Raid list removed as it's enough to show the class distribution list imho
  • Icons for the raid type, different classes and items

Attendance list:
  • Attendance for selectable raids
  • Members with (xx) have not been in the system for enough days

Tracker: (note: we're using a timebased dkp system)
The tracker was made because it was unfair to give full dkp for everyone that had been in a raid, as some players might leave 20 minutes after it started. The ingame tracker now saves all events of players joining the raid, leaving the raid, going online or offline, joining or leaving the queue and so on. This is then copy-pasted to the tracker parser, and it then adds all members to the raid, and also adds adjustments depending on how much the player should get for the raid (if you attend half the raid, you're added to the attendance list but gets an adjustment for half the raid value).
Tracker queue:
The tracker mod also contains a queue, which the player can join or leave using tells. Alts can be linked with the queued main, so that members can play their alts and still show that they want to join when possible. It's possible to give players in queue dkp, but the most positive thing about it is that we can see: 1) Who's in the queue waiting. 2) Where they are (and on which character). 3) For how long they've been waiting. The queue is shared between the members using the tracker, so if someone send a tell to me about joining the queue, that information is also updated for all other players in the raid that's using the tracker.

ItemAuction:
Mod made so we wouldn't make any errors during the autions. Someone start the auction, and then players can bid through tells. The winner is then announced in /raid, and a popup is shown with the item name, winner name and dkp value. I then copy the text from the popup into the additem admin page and dkp are updated only seconds after the player picks up the item.

  • Pasting the line copied at the screenshot above will mark the member in the list and set the item name and dkp value.

Hi,

found that set of modifications very intersting. Besides i have knowledge of php and also some of the way eqdkp works i dont have the time and will to do the same as you have done.

So i ask you to off me parhaps the dkp files as well as the tracker and auction mod along with a description if there have to be any database changes.

I know you dont want to offer support and i dont ask for that, just the files for the first installation would be very very kind of you.

Hi, I must say I'm impressed with all the addons you have created to eqdkp, we have a problem in our guild with our current attendance system and we want something similar to what you have created (a rotation system).

Is there any chance I can get the system that you created?

Don't worry about giving me assistance, I know php and mysql and if there is any problem I think I could bear with it by myself.

Thanks in advance.

i believe that is a mod for wow and you can get it in any of the mods main download sites, i dont really think that affects eqdkp in any way.

Would there be any way to get your files for this? I love the way you have it set-up and I would not require any support at all.
